With another winter season now complete, we’re delighted to say that The Alpine Transfer Company is going from strength to strength and would like to thank the many companies and individuals that have made this year a success.
A last look at the snowy pistes of Serre Che for 2015-16 season
Several new partnerships with local businesses in Serre Chevalier have proven very successful – confirming that our reliable transfer service comes highly recommended! – and also very helpful to their own clientele, providing a smooth and comfortable journey from airport to chalet and back again.
Many thanks to our valued partners, old and new, including Chalet Prestige, Le Rock Noir, Hôtel Plein Sud and chalet Chez Bear plus friends and affiliates Tadpole Holidays, Eureka Ski and Ski Connections who we have worked with for many years.
We also extend our thanks to everyone who travelled with us this year and hope we helped in ensuring safe and stress-free travel during your ski holiday, for you and your entourage.
We always gain an encouragingly high percentage of repeat business from individual clients, traveling either to the same ski resort each year or to nearby resorts, and would be grateful for any feedback you may wish to offer. Please add a review to our Facebook page!
We would also like to say a huge thank you to our heroic drivers that have not only delivered hundreds of holidaymakers safely to their flights and accommodation, but have overcome many obstacles and challenges in the line of their duties.
Delays are often likely when traveling on mountain roads in winter, including ill-prepared drivers struggling with snow chains and poor visibility at altitude making the journey slower, however one particular day this season highlighted how efficient our team can be despite heavy snow and a road closure …
Saturday 5th March saw a huge amount of snowfall in and around Montgenèvre and the Serre Chevalier valley and many unfortunate travellers ended up stuck behind a coach on the Col du Montgenèvre. We are very proud of our crisis management team who dealt with the day’s travel disruptions from early in the morning until mid-afternoon, working frantically to keep passengers informed and get them to and from Turin airport on time.
Thank you to Jackson, Rod, Matt, Steve and Gail, as without you The Alpine Transfer Company would not have achieved so much success. We look forward to working with you again in the summer and next winter season.
To our many clients, we look forward to welcoming you back to the Alpes in 2016-17, and remind you to look out for early booking discounts here on our website!
