Top news! A new 8 passenger gondola in Chantemerle has replaced the old cable car. So when the whole valley opens on 14th December 2013 it will now be able to raise 2,500 people per hour up to the Serre Ratier Plateau which is a great improvement compared to 800 people per hour with the old cable car. Each journey will take five minutes and the views are spectacular.

Serre Chevalier has a magnificent 250km of pistes which are spread across four main connecting sections; Briançon, Chantemerle, Villeneuve and Le Monêtier-les-Bains. This incredible network of areas provides a huge variety of skiing and snowboarding for every level; beginners, intermediates, advanced, and off piste lovers. There are 100 slopes; 13 black runs, 35 red runs, 23 green runs and 8 discovery and nursery areas, covered by 61 lifts in total.

One of the most beautiful features of this magnificent valley is there are so many trees, this makes for a very pretty winter wonderland resort. If you’re flying in from Grenoble or Turin check out our prices for scheduled and non scheduled transfers from the airport.
