One of the drawbacks of every mountain location is accessibility.  You can't land a passenger jet in a mountain valley, mountain trains are notoriously slow, and the winding mountain roads can be a daunting proposition to even the most experienced drivers (especially in the depths of winter).

Unfortunately Briançon is no exception to this rule and the main reason that we chose to set up The Alpine Transfer Company was to make Briançon and its neighbouring resorts more accessible to members of the public who do not want to drive to the resort, or hire a rental vehicle.

By Train

Briançon's train station is situated at Avenue du Général de Gaulle, from where it is possible to travel to Grenoble, Marseille and Paris.

The second closest station is located approximately 40km away in Oulx, from where you can catch trains to Turin, Milan and Paris.  The Alpine Transfer Company is pleased to offer an Oulx transfer service.
