Grenoble airport is situated just 111km away from Les Deux Alpes and as such is one of the most popular gateways to the ski-resorts of the Rhône-Alpes region.  Unfortunately there is no direct public transport connection between Grenoble airport and Les Deux Alpes, although you can catch a shuttle bus to Grenoble's Gare Routière, which is located in the town centre, and then catch a coach to Les Deux Alpes.  Easier said than done if you are travelling with kids and skis!
