Grenoble-Isère Airport is located 40km to the northwest of Grenoble and provided seasonal connections to Guernsey, Birmingham, Bristol, London, Warsaw, Dublin, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Stockholm and Rotterdam.  As such it is extremely popular with British holidaymakers and forms one of the principal gateways to the Alpine ski resorts of les Deux Alpes, l'Alpe d'Huez, Serre Chevalier and Briancon.

During the winter there are regular coach services from Grenoble Gare Routière to both l'Alpe d'Huez (1'25") and les Deux Alpes (1'40") as well as a twice daily service which serves la Grave (1'15"), Serre Chevalier (2'20") & Briancon (2'35").  However you need to bear in mind that you will need to add at least 1'30"-2'00" to account for changes as well as the Grenoble airport transfer itself.
